Glastonbury – Big News

by on February 25, 2009

Hope and Social are proud and ecstatic to announce that they will be performing at this year’s Glastonbury Festival.

It’s been an ambition for all the band members for many years and the priveledge has been extended to us through “Q The Music“. Music industry proffessionals including Q magazine and Emily Eavis, daughter of festival founder Micheal have selected Hope and Social from thousands of entries to perform on the Thursday night at the Emerging Talent Stage.

We’re also one of 12 bands who get to perform for a panel of judges at the illustriuos Pilton Working Mens club at the end of March, to establish which band gets to play the one coveted Pryramid Stage slot.

I for one am finding it hard to focus on any work right now, as all I can think about is the possibilty of entering the Guinness Book of Records for the Largest Kazoo Ensemble to ever be recorded.

Keep your peepers peeled for more festival news… this week or next.  And please pass on our free downloads. We need you. We want you and your friends.
